As a clinical therapist at ManMade Group, I specialize in working with men and adolescent boys navigating issues related to identity, emotional disconnection, anxiety, depression, anger, purpose, and the pressures that often come with trying to hold everything together alone. I understand that for many men, opening up does not come naturally and therapy can feel unfamiliar or uncomfortable at first. Many men are taught to keep moving no matter what they are carrying. They learn to stay productive, stay composed, and deal with problems on their own. Therapy offers a space to gain clarity as you begin to step out of survival mode.
My approach is steady, direct, and relational. Therapy with me is not about judgment, overanalyzing, or forcing vulnerability. It is a collaborative space where you can show up as you are without having to perform, have the “right” words, or pretend things are fine when they are not. We simply work to better understand what is happening beneath the surface.
Many men I work with were unsure about therapy at first. Sessions are conversational and collaborative—not forced or overly clinical—and move at a pace that feels manageable.
With teens, I focus first on building trust and safety. Sessions are age-appropriate, relaxed, and centered on helping them feel understood while learning skills they can actually use.
