We are shaped by our relationships. The ones that held us, the ones that didn't, and the ones we are trying to find our way through. Our relationship with ourselves as foundation. Our relationships with others as continuous mirror, and deepening in our capacity to love. Developmental and relational trauma often do not announce themselves as trauma. They show up as a low hum, a pattern in love, a body that knows what the mind has not yet caught up to. That shaping lives in the body. In how you attach, how you withdraw, how you learned to protect yourself before you had words. The work begins in what is alive now, beneath the surface.

With couples, I draw on Relational Life Therapy and sex and intimacy therapy. We go underneath what you argue about to what's driving it, name the pattern, and build skills for truth, repair, and closeness with space for both of you. With adult families, we work with the relational patterns still running between parent and child.

With individuals we meet the protective patterns of developmental trauma; early wounds still shaping your present. We work with your body, not just your words. I work well with high-achieving adults who understand their patterns intellectually but haven't touched the somatic layer where things shift.

Sessions are present-focused and body-informed. We work with what is alive right now: sensation, impulse, emotion present before you have words for it. I may invite you to pause, notice, stay with something your body is doing. This is experiential and explorative work, not a protocol. The foundation is regulation: building capacity to be with more, so what once felt overwhelming becomes workable.
