I help with big and overwhelming feelings, relationship struggles, lack of a stable sense of self, challenges with finding a clear direction in life, school avoidance, life transitions, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. I also work with individuals who have strong emotional reactions to sounds when interacting with others, a condition called misophonia. My clients are tweens, teens, and emerging adults (ages 10–25), as well as their parents or caregivers.

The interventions I use (the Unified Protocols for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C/A), Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A) have been specifically tailored to the developmental characteristics of the young people I work with.

As a multilingual speaker and someone who was educated in different cultural contexts (Bulgaria, Germany, France, and the US), I attune and adapt to each client’s unique personality and cultural background. I work especially well with children and youth who are creative, interested in film as an art form, or enjoy reading graphic novels.
