I work with adults specializing in a wide range of issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, identity, relationships, career, life transitions, and trauma. My over twenty-six years of clinical experience include supervising and providing clinical care at a top-ranked academic medical center, N.Y. Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center.
I incorporate and acknowledge the mind/body connection, as well as honor multiple holistic perspectives such as mindfulness-based stress reduction. My extensive work in grieving, trauma, and PTSD includes treatment of issues related to Covid-19, HIV and AIDS, and 9/11.
I'm a graduate of the psychodynamic psychotherapy program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP). I also use elements of CBT, DBT, spirituality, and various substance treatment modalities. My approach is also informed as an M.S. graduate in Narrative Medicine, a Columbia University-based program using the arts in healthcare.
