Therapy is a vessel for a client to reach and achieve their personal goals. I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to create, implement, and achieve their goals with the help and assistance of their therapist. I've worked in a variety of settings, including residential rehabilitation programs supporting individuals living with chronic mental illness, outpatient mental health clinics and social/emotional support groups for transition aged youth and young adults.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults of all ages. I specialize in working with individuals and families who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, thought/mood disorders, behavior challenges, executive functioning disorders, and ADD/ADHD.
I attended American University for my undergraduate studies and then earned my MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with a clinical focus on mental health. I am an avid reader and continue to seek out the latest literature and interventions in the mental health field.

"What's Next?"
This psycho-educational group is led by two clinical social workers. Emphasis is on young people (gender inclusive), ages 18-24 who are in the midst of making changes in their lives in regard to education, career, family/relationships, and any other challenges around the transition to adulthood. This group begins on November 23, 2019 and is $75 per session. Please contact me with any questions--looking forward to meeting you!
