I view mental healthy symptoms as signals that one's life and relationships are unbalanced. I work with youth, families, couples and individual adults who are caught in life altering or life threatening patterns. I specialize in family therapy where I work with adolescents and their caregivers who are impacted by protracted conflict and disconnection. I work with couples who are caught in patterns of conflict, avoidance, misunderstanding, parenting challenges. In addition to my work with youth and families, I also have experience working with law enforcement members, as well as their spouses and children.
I have completed advanced certification in Attachment Based Family Therapy, Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and EMDR. I serve as the social work consultant for the Philadelphia Child and Family Training Center. I regularly engage in consultation, supervision and professional development.
The strongest influence on my decision to pursue training as a psychotherapist has been my personal experiences as a client in psychotherapy. I understand that asking for and receiving help is difficult. I welcome the chance to speak about you, your relationship or family's needs.
