I enjoy working with the client's present day experience while bringing in relevant aspects of one's personal history. I work collaboratively with my clients on re-creating a life of healing and fullness. Therapy might mean working through depression and anxiety, significant events in the past, exploring spiritual meanings, all the while exploring the here-and-now. Having had extensive international experiences, I also actively engage in an intercultural frame and approach in therapy, exploring cultural values and intergenerational issues. Wellness is actively defined by the forces and people that has shaped and continues to shape us.
I am a licensed MFT in private practice. My work focuses on individual and couples psychotherapy. I specialize in working with personal growth and self-discovery, unpacking and working through aspects of their lives that have prevented them from living an optimal life in relationship with others.
I received my psychotherapy training at Fuller Theological Seminary (M.S. MFT). Additionally I also received a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I am fluent in Mandarin, Chinese and Taiwanese, and familiar with Japanese.
