I am an LCSW and LADC. I have worked with clients struggling with addictions for over 35 years. I offer safe and supportive therapy sessions in which clients can address their addiction(s) and develop strategies to achieve their goals. I work with clients who are experiencing negative consequences in their lives due to an addiction. Also, I work with clients who have achieved abstinence but need assistance in developing practical strategies to achieve peace in their lives.
My work with clients includes motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to assist clients in recognizing how their addiction is causing major disruptions in their lives and moving through the stages of change.
My communication style projects a sense of acceptance and puts clients at ease. Clients enjoy working with me because it is a collaboration that focuses on your goals.
