I believe in everyone's ability to change, heal, cope and feel joy. I work mostly with adults from a Family Systems perspective. This means I try to understand people as a whole and recognize that we are all being affected by the systems (family, work, communities etc) that surround us. I use primarily cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based techniques to address your relationship with yourself and the world around you.
My professional experience includes (but is not limited to) working with adults with trauma, addiction, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and relational issues. I have experience working with medical professionals, medical students, educators, young adults, parents (single, working, and Stay at home), and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I know starting therapy can feel uncertain and scary. I strive to meet people where they are, identify where they want to be and help them navigate that road at their own pace with persistence and self-awareness. I believe in cultivating joy, and creating a space that is open, free of judgement, and safe.
