Are you having difficulty with relationships or your career? School anxiety? Are you struggling with a sense of general unhappiness? Change is possible! Sometimes, we all get a little lost. Depending on the season of life you are in, you maybe experiencing more stress than usual, and need a support system. That is where I come into the picture. I have been a licensed mental health provider for over 15 years and am able to effectively help people with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, women's issues, and career concerns. I am trained to use DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) in both group and individual sessions.
I am sensitive to the experiences of those who have gone through traumas of various kinds and work with them towards wholeness. I also enjoy working with adolescents and serving the LGBTQ community. Additionally, my training in DBT assists people who struggle with overwhelming emotions and difficulty self-regulating their emotions.
Using a blend of humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and DBT therapies, I inherently believe that individuals are all seeking fulfillment. My job is to help them get there and to empower you to believe in yourself and your capabilities. Everyone has strengths and they need to be reminded of those! I advocate for those who come from marginalized populations.
