Hi! I’m so glad you made it here. This odyssey is ultimately about you, but here is some information about me to help you decide if you’d like my support along the way. My name is Ana (with the Spanish pronunciation), and I graduated from Villanova University where I got my BA in Psychology and later my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a National Certified Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional. Throughout my clinical experience, I have helped clients navigate various concerns and and co-occurring issues, primarily addiction and trauma.
Having worked with diverse clients with varying backgrounds and experiences, I believe that every client is unique and that you are ultimately the expert on yourself, which is something I will try to incorporate in my work with you. I bring non-judgmental warmth to each session and strive to provide a caring atmosphere where my clients can feel safe.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, watching tv/movies, and playing D&D, all while cozying up with a comfy blanket and a nice, hot cup of tea. Groups
Virtual Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) Therapy Group
This 4-person group uses the tabletop roleplaying game (ttrpg) Dungeons & Dragons to work on therapeutic goals. Therapeutic D&D uses a mix of evidence-based Adlerian play therapy and the concept of roleplay in therapy to help clients process some of the same concerns that bring them to therapy, as well as learn and practice skills for healthy coping and social interactions.
