Using personality traits of empathy, compassion, and commitment allow me to help you gain insight to have a better understanding of yourself. This, in turn, helps you to accept yourself for who you are while motivating you to create change. My approach goes beyond listening and understanding. I want to teach you skills that can help you manage and problem solve independently. Empowering you towards self-advocacy is my goal in therapy.

I have worked in many settings including inpatient, outpatient, schools, home based therapy, sexual assault services, respite care, family services, emergency/crisis intervention and community mental health. I am trained and certified in many clinical interventions that allows for an integrative approach. I incorporate skill building, trauma interventions, behavioral modification, resourcing, and collaborative work with others to provide the most effective results possible.

My counseling experience includes treating adolescents, adults, and couples. My practice is highly individualized to address common symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
