Welcome! I am glad you are here! I have a passion for helping people know themselves better and process their lives and concerns. I work with a variety of people with struggles such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, addiction, relationships, and more. I primarily work from a psychodynamic perspective that seeks to understand individuals’ unconscious motivations and desires that contribute to our conscious life. I am comfortable discussing any issue that you might bring up and can aid in helping you achieve a healthier and more fulfilling life.

My job is to help you unlock the secrets to your own happiness and productivity. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, and get tremendous fulfillment in seeing my clients succeed. No problem is unsolvable. Working with me will grant you greater stress tolerance and emotional resilience, as well as "mind-hacks" that will change how you deal with normal day-to-day life.

I offer counseling sessions tailored to individuals and couples grappling with matters such as weight management and obesity, issues of trust, the relentless pursuit of perfection, emotional disconnection, generalized anxiety and depression. My therapeutic approach revolves around aiding individuals in their healing process. by illuminating the ways in which their cognitive patterns regarding self-perception and interpersonal dynamics shape their behavior, which may be contributing to feelings of stagnation and unfulfillment.

Along the road, we all developed temporary tools to solve the problems in our lives. Unfortunately, we often forgot to stop using those tools, and they became "permanent." In the end, using the wrong tool to solve a problem does not make one's life better, only worse. In therapy, I work with adolescents and adults to re-tool and get more of what they want out of life. Lisa Thaler, LCSW moved to Austin in October, 2019 after maintaining a private practice in New York City for the past 28 years. She received her BA from Amherst College and her MSW from New York University. She completed her psychoanalytic training at The Women’s Therapy Centre Institute, which is specifically known for its attention to feminism, gender and social justice, as well as contemporary psychoanalytic thinking.

Patrick Lee is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC State of Texas). He earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of the Cumberlands.

Hi there! My name is Dr. Ana Alicia Potthast, DSW, LCSW, LCDC. I have a passion for mental health care and substance abuse treatment, and I have extensive experience and training in behavioral health, diagnostics, addiction, co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse and assault, maternity and fertility issues, grief and loss, hoarding, family dynamics and conflict, marital issues, sexual orientation and gender identification and expression, adjustment issues, stages in life, and many other situations that bring a client to seek counseling.

Rhonda Griffin, LPC has been a counselor for 23 years. She has a master's in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She has taught counseling and supervised intern graduate students. Rhonda engages easily with compassion and a warm sense of humor. A harmonious blend of west coast perspective with Texan common sense. She brings practical skills and knowledge to her clients for problem solving using various modalities. A Systemic Family practitioner, she also uses Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectic Behavioral, Jungian, and Emotion Focused Therapy. Rhonda is currently accepting new clients
