Ashley is a published licensed professional counselor skilled in counseling children, adolescents, and adults. She provides empathetic and non-judgmental care using person-centered, behavioral, and trauma focused techniques. She has worked in numerous settings: hospital, outpatient, residential, in-home, virtual, and school. Ashley is passionate about meeting her clients where they are and encouraging authentic engagement in the therapeutic process to help meet their goals.

It is my passion to work alongside individuals on issues related to the pervasive impacts of trauma. This includes childhood sexual abuse, attachment wounds, anxiety, panic, depression, self-esteem concerns, relational discord, infidelity, and grief. I am also drawn to offering support for those effected by the gaps in our systems related to military/families, as well as those struggling with postpartum related issues. My passion for these areas has driven me to help fill in those gaps through the support and psycho education that lacks in these important populations.

I am a licensed master of social work with over a year of experience working with children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, substance use disorders, and various mood and behavioral disorders. I also have experience working with families and groups. Within counseling, I believe you have the skills and strength necessary to make change happen in your life and I am here to assist you in this process. Within my sessions, I provide a space without judgment where individuals can process, grow, and improve their mental and emotional well-being.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is an organic experience that cannot be created elsewhere. My experience has shown me that each of us walks our own path and that no two are the same. Having support while walking your path can be just the thing to make the difference. Taylor Kemp is a Licensed Professional Counselor (Temp) being supervised by Dr. Charles Ihrig, PhD., LPC-MHSP. Taylor received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and has been working in the mental health field in both clinical and operational management roles for 5 years. Taylor is passionate about increasing access to mental health care and is excited to bring needed services to Memphis and the surrounding areas.

I am a licensed masters social worker with over 5 years of experience helping clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, and loss. My approach to counseling is very individualized - you are the expert on your life, and I am here to help you make change happen.

I have been a pastoral counselor since 1993 and in private practice since 2016. I use a person-centered, spiritually-integrated approach with clients. I am a board-certified chaplain with many years of experience supporting individuals and families dealing with medical crises or losses. I also have extensive experience with clients raising special needs children as well as with the challenges related to adoption. Another area of my experience includes working with clients whose loved ones are dealing with substance abuse and other addictions. My practice also consists of supporting individuals and families impacted by incarceration.

My ideal client has come to the painful awareness that something is off. Life has been derailed by a host of intruders like grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, family drama, relational conflict, heartbreak, abuse, and trauma. What once worked just to survive no longer works. They've come to the awareness that they must choose 1) the hard path of change, or 2) the even more difficult path of doing the same thing again and again while expecting different results. My clients are willing to bring the pain of their past into the work of the present so that they might live in hope of their future.
