At some point in time, every person experiences an impasse or issue in his or her life, and might need to regain some perspective or obtain support to help improve the situation. As a counselor, I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment in which to work on life's issues, problems, or roadblocks. I work with and assist children, adolescents, and adults aged 11 years and up experiencing any number of issues such as, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, adjustment problems, financial health disorders, life stage changes, grief, parenting issues, relationship difficulties, work/career problems, and health concerns.

Personal life experiences have inspired me to help others. I have developed a deeper understanding and empathy for others that experience difficult times. I have experience working with clients that have experienced significant loss and trauma. Physical health and mental health problems, often, develop when an individual experiences high level of stress. Depression and other mental health problems may occur when individuals and families experience multiple issues. Some issues may include separation, divorce, and loss of a loved one.

You do not know how to feel normal anymore. You feel trapped, hopeless, or even different than everyone around you. Your closest friends and loved ones notice that you have changed and just not your true self, but you do not even know what that looks like anymore? You want to find out who you are so you can be the best at being you. Emotions such as frustration, depression, and loneliness plague your life and its hard to see a clear picture of goals, not even goals to get through the end of the day. Take a moment to notice these feelings. Sadly enough people think “this is just life”. Well it doesn’t have to be anymore.
