My nearly fifteen years of experience includes working with youth and adults who have experienced emotional and behavioral challenges, such as anxiety and depression, including working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual disabilities.

I believe counseling can be one of the most amazing and transformational experiences of your life when you feel validated, safe, and supported to explore your life’s struggles. My primary goal in every session is that each of my clients feel safe and supported so that they have the opportunity to realize and achieve the goals they set out and want for their lives. Sometimes that means walking down some difficult paths. I walk alongside each of my clients providing support through this struggle.

I am a warm and empathetic therapist experienced working with clients with a range of issues. My approach in therapy is to let you be the expert and me be the coach. I use a very personalize approach in sessions which include reflective listening, being empathetic to your situation while helping you to find strategies to improve your quality of life. I also provide therapy homework and challenge each client to work towards achieving their own personal goals.

Kayla received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Kutztown University and is a LSW candidate. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including residential facilities, schools, and community-based substance use prevention efforts. Kayla is passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate early life transitions and possesses the experience and skills to work with individuals of all ages, including couples.
