Taking a step towards mental wellness can be overwhelming, but I am here to walk you through the process. I provide a safe, and flexible environment for clients to explore their goals in life and I empower individuals to make a plan for healing. Each plan of care is created with an individually focused lens that allows clients to maintain control of their goals and action steps towards wellness. Although my approach is integrative and person-centered, I most often utilize CBT, mindfulness, supportive, strength-based and couples therapy techniques within my sessions.

I am a licensed social worker who has worked in a variety of settings to empower and support vulnerable populations. I trained in the neonatal intensive care unit of my local Level One trauma center in NEO helping parents navigate the care needs of their new child as well as their own physical and behavioral health needs. My training also includes working with patients at the Columbus Free Clinic, women in transitional supportive housing and survivors of domestic violence. I have extensive experience in helping guide individuals through complex social safety net programs and providing referrals to community support agencies.

Tessa Basco earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Akron in 2015. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 10 years of experience in the field. Tessa specializes in treating the lifespan and has experience with people of all ages; with a specific focus on treating adolescents and young adults.

I have had successes in improving clients ability to adjust to life transitions resulting from divorce, widowhood, Loss of job, retirement or change in career. I believe that by changing our thoughts, we can change our life. My theoretical approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and a a solution focused approach.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families struggling with a wide range of issues. Whether it is anxiety in childhood or adulthood, marital conflict, grieving the loss of a loved one, or navigating motherhood, I understand that we all need connection and validation. We need to know we are not alone in whatever we are facing in life. Also, a common struggle for many is lacking a sense of purpose or meaning in their lives, often leading to frustration and despair. I am passionate about helping clients understand the importance of finding purpose.

I have many years of experience working with early childhood trauma and severe, persistent mental illness, varying from ages of 5 years to 70+. My goal is to empower and advocate for positive change within you, as the individual, and the system as a whole. The place that we will create together is a safe and judgement free space. I work through an Existential foundation, to help those I work with seek meaning and purpose, with skills built from experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, all within the context of a trauma-informed approach.

Kami Imes (she/her) is a licensed independent social worker with a supervisory designation and a certified employee assistance professional. She earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Akron. Kami has a wide range of mental health experience including providing counseling for individuals and families in hospital, hospice, and outpatient settings. She has worked with adult clients on issues including but not limited mood disorders, adjustment disorders, life transitions, anxiety disorders and grief.

Kathleen Hobson Davis (she/her) is a licensed independent social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and the adults who love them. She has enjoyed providing individual, group and family counseling in a variety of settings, including outpatient community mental health, transitional housing, partial hospitalization, pre-K through 12th grade regular and special education programs, and online caregiver support groups.

Reaching out for help takes a lot of courage and insight. I am here to help. I have worked in the counseling field for the last 20 years in private practice, treatment centers and in Higher Education. I enjoy helping others work through life situations and difficulties to regain their sense of self and worth. I utilize the treatment modality that fits your personality and comfort level. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge, empathy and a belief that no situation is hopeless.

Christopher D. Kline, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who has had the pleasure of working with adults and adolescents for over 20 years in a number of different settings, from university counseling centers, community-based outreach programs, and private psychology practice, to working with corporate executives and teams. Dr. Kline received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron, a Masters of Arts in Community Counseling from the University of Akron, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of Wooster.

Lauren Kustec is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Lauren has experience working with individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and of all ages. Lauren has provided treatment to individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, and other mental health issues that impact daily living.

Beth Gracey has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families as an independently licensed social worker. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Master's degree in Social Work. She has been the Children's Program Coordinator at the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board for over 10 years. She serves as co-chair of the Summit County Youth Suicide Prevention Committee, and Summit County Trauma Informed Care Coalition. She is a Level One Certified Trauma Practitioner and certified perinatal mood disorder specialist.
