I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) NYS Board certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor, New Jersey Licensed Board of Marriage & Family therapy & Florida Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in working with diverse and vulnerable populations. I also Conduct psychosocial evaluations for immigrationcases (Vawa law, Waivers and Political Asylum cases). Being bilingual and bicultural gives me the opportunity to reach numerous individuals in need of psychological help. I have vast experience in providing psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and families both in the Unites States and Ecuador.

My ideal client is someone who is stressed, burned out, or just dealing with everyday life challenges. They may feel stuck or unsure of what their next move should be. My clients need someone to listen to them—to be heard in a “safe space” where they can freely express themselves. They understand that everyone struggles and that it’s okay to ask for help. Their goals are to learn better ways to cope and deal with their issues. They want to live their best life without fear and anxiety but with courage and resilience.

I am a psychotherapist with many years of experience working with individuals and couples. In my practice I utilize a wholistic approach with an emphasis on helping the client resolve "unfinished business". Unresolved emotions can have a negative impact on one's psychological and physical health. She finds great joy in walking alongside her clients through a meaningful journey of healing and behavioral transformation. Angela’s many years of working with individuals, couples, and groups have shaped her approach to client centered counseling and compassionate care.

My training has covered the lifespan-from infants to elderly adults in multiple settings treating a wide range of mental health and behavioral difficulties that interfere with daily living. I am committed to creating a safe and warm environment utilizing evidence-based techniques and research to inform my practice and to help clients move toward their desired outcome.
