My formal education has prepared me to counsel individual adolescents, children, adults, groups, and the multicultural population. My approach to counseling is best described as one that is person-centered and family systems oriented. I believe people are capable of reaching their best potential given the right support and tools for change, and that whenever possible treatment should involve the family not just the individual child or adult.

I enjoy working with people of all ages. I have experience in school counseling for over 20 years, and I have worked in elementary, middle and high schools including an alternative school. I have worked with clients with learning disabilities and gifted. I have worked with children who are on the autism spectrum, and with behavioral problems. I have worked with families who are experiencing changes: divorce, remarriage, blending families, moves, sickness and death, adoption and fostering families. I have also worked with many families who are family care placements who children whose parents can't care for them.

I have more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, 11 of them have been in clinical practice. I have experience working with individuals and families (ages 5+) with all manners of mental health diagnosis and external stressors especially past and current traumatic experiences, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, life adjustments, anger management, and oppositional behaviors.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. I have 24 years’ experience working with children and adults Including those with various mental health and addiction issues. Keith received his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University in May 1994 and a his Masters of Social Work from California State University in December 2010. I have been trained with Triple P Level 3, Together Facing the Challenge provider and trainer, Motivational Interviewing, and is certificated in providing assessment and therapy for youth for problem sexual.

Every therapy client has unique needs and goals. Some people seek clarification during transitional times, while others desire an open, nonjudgmental space to share and process complex emotions. Many therapy clients seek a space to vent or air frustrations. I enjoy meeting each client where they are in their mental health journey and working to approach their individual needs.

I believe in deeply exploring early childhood experiences to determine a connection between those experiences and one's internal working model. I engage in much reflectiveness with my client's. I am not here to tell people what to do but, to assist with processing, reflecting and creating healthier mental mindfulness. I am compassionate about helping people. I offer a respective an empathetic stance. I enjoy working with children, teenagers and young adults.
