Having a teen or young adult struggling with dependence on drugs or alcohol can be a scary, confusing, and isolating experience. Being a teen or young adult struggling with these issues is even more difficult. As a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I strive to make these difficult life experiences more manageable while gently guiding my clients and their families towards the life they want and see for themselves.
I believe people begin and continue using substances for a variety of reasons. In my work with my clients, I assist them in identifying these underlying reasons and address them in a supportive environment. My goal is to assist my clients in gaining insight into their thought processes and emotions in order to foster change.
I specialize in teens, young adults, and adults struggling with addictive behaviors negative coping patterns. The services I offer include individual, family, and couples therapy, as well as assessments. I offer evening and weekend hours as well as online video counseling (telehealth services).
