I believe that you already have the answer to your problems and concerns, but just might need some help to discover that answer. You have the skills to change and overcome already in you. Like finding a diamond buried in a big rock, your abilities may be several layers down, but they exist! I am here to help you remove those layers, build skills, and reach the "gem", which is your life changed in the way you want it changed. I am here to help if you have a clear, defined problem, or if life just feels "off". I listen to your perspectives and ways of being to determine how to approach problem solving.

The majority of clients come to therapy with a problem that’s somehow rooted in relationships, past or present. People's trauma doesn’t usually come from a car accident or natural disaster—somewhere along the line it comes from relationships, either with some other person or group of people. My ideal clients believe their life is not where they want it to be, even if they don’t necessarily know how or why. The things that my ideal clients believe about their experience are what cause misperceptions about who they are and what they’re worth—which keep them from really truly connecting to other people.

My goal is not to make you forget your past or the people in your past but to help you make those experiences a healthy part of your future life. The past should be something we can live with, a place to start and build a better tomorrow. I believe you are the key healing.

Facing the challenges of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts, can be daunting. It's important to know you're not alone. Stress, trauma, crises, grief, and life's hardships can exacerbate these issues. Children, too, are not immune to such problems, and I strive to teach them emotional regulation and empower their voices. As a compassionate and authentic individual, I create a safe and understanding space for my clients. Moreover, I strongly advocate for growth, resilience, and the path to success.

Are you having trouble reaching your goals regarding relationships, career, giving up habits or starting new ones? Have you experienced significant loss: death of a loved one, a job or relationship that ended? Have you suffered trauma, either years ago or more recently? Do you struggle with depression or chronic health problems? Do "nerves" prevent you from doing your best on tests, at work, in sports or the performing arts? If you have concerns in any of these areas, give me a call. I can help you access your own healing power and resources.
