My joy comes from working with individuals at various stages and challenges of life; childhood, teens, college, and adulthood. I provide a playful and collaborative environment for adults, parents, and children alike looking to explore the tough stuff as well as the normal day to day bumps. My goal is to make every client and caregiver feel worthy and capable of well-being. I work with a wide variety of issues across the lifespan such as vicarious trauma in professionals, sexual and domestic abuse, childhood abuse or trauma, attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.

We strive to advocate for equity with ourselves, friends, families, and societal systems. The journey towards safety and connection can be overwhelming, tiresome, and different for each person. It can feel intimidating and stressful to reach out for help when you may not have the words for the challenge you're facing. I want you to know that you are not alone. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Just as we take swimming lessons before going into the deep end of a pool, we all need help navigating the deepest challenges of life.

Caroline focuses on the impact of life's later chapters when working with seniors, their adult children, and caregivers. She works with clients 18 and over to recognize and develop personal strengths, process grief, navigate life's twists and turns, and provide support in healing generational wounds. Caroline works with individuals, couples and families to address, conflict, anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, neurodivergence, healthcare hurdles, long-standing mental health challenges, or new symptoms. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, comfort, kindness, and clarity.

I am passionate about helping people in the process of self-discovery and personal growth. I am particularly skilled in counseling adults and have significant experience helping individuals suffering with trauma, depression, anxiety, codependency, and life transition issues. I also provide care to those experiencing grief and loss that cannot be openly acknowledged. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Kansas.

I think we are all wired for and worthy of love and connection. Whether that is connection to ourselves or to others, I believe the desire to belong lives inside each of us. That doesn’t mean it’s easy, though. There can be so many places where shame, doubt, old wounds, and miscommunication disorient and disconnect us. As a therapist, I consider it a great privilege to be invited into your world and to get to partner with you as we collaboratively work through some of the things that might be keeping you stuck.

I am here to guide, observe, suggest, and provide education so that each client can find their individual path to success and balance.
