I work with adult women(18yrs+)and adolescent girls(15yrs+)in individual therapy on issues relating to relationships, life transitions, co-dependency, self-awareness/worth, grief, anxiety, stress, chronic illness, pre-pregnancy/pregnancy, parenting, mid-life and therapy as self-care. I also offer parenting sessions focused on education and guidance in problem solving issues with children of all ages. I offer telehealth sessions across the state of Missouri.

I specialize working with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety and depressive issues, bipolar, as well as substance use disorders. I provide a judgment-free, supportive setting and aid the client in identifying their own inner strengths to help them find solutions to whatever difficulties they are experiencing. I am licensed to provide services in both Missouri and Kansas. I am also certified to provide substance use counseling throughout the United States.

For 30yrs, I have had the distinct privilege of working with hundreds of traumatized clients, couples, & fellow mental health professionals. Many people experience trauma or other hardships that interfere with their life. Depression and anxiety can make it difficult to function. Extreme emotions can be overwhelming and distracting. I incorporate multiple science based approaches in therapy to make sure that individuals both have the skills to function, and can live their life to their full potential. I am experienced in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is an excellent tool for dealing with unresolved trauma. I will work with you to find the the best tools that will encourage healing and foster growth.

I am a student at Colorado Christian University enrolled in the Master's in Clinical Mental Health program and currently practicing as an intern at Rejuvenate KC located in Lees Summit, Missouri. In addition to my education, for more than two years, I have worked as a Life Coach in both long-term and short-term residential treatment facilities for adolescents. I have experience working with clients who face anxiety, depression, panic attacks, eating disorders, attachment disorders, family issues, suicidal ideation, and various trauma.
