We all have parts of ourselves that we like, and we have parts of ourselves that frustrate, confuse, or scare us. I’m interested in the whole of a person - both internally and externally - and desire to create a safe space for all parts of my clients. It is my hope to help you create acceptance and safety for these parts of you as well. Being trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) gives me a holistic, systems-focused approach to clients’ lives. My experience with clients has cultivated a passion for trauma-informed, attachment-based, and person-centered care.

The ideal client is one of two kinds of people. The first is the person who knows that something is off center, or off balance, but they need help figuring out why, and the second is the person who knows why they are off balance, but doesn't know what to do about it. In either case, both are not only motivated to seek answers, but they are also motivated to do the work and make the changes that are needed to recenter or rebalance their lives. They take responsibility for the things they need to, but are also able to let the responsibility lie elsewhere if it's not theirs to take.

I know therapy can sometimes be intimidating, and I strive to create a calm, inviting environment that allows clients to process freely and openly. I am very passionate and intentional about creating a safe environment and providing people space to be themselves and share without fear or judgment. I welcome clients of all ages with different stories! I'm excited to walk alongside you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with families, couples and individuals. I have experience working in day treatment settings, in-home as well as residential settings. I believe in treating the individual, not the masses. That meaning, I believe each client's experience is unique and what works for one does not work for all.

For almost 20 years I’ve come alongside individuals, couples, and families struggling with a variety of concerns. One of my greatest passions is helping people discover their potential through developing their own tools and skills to work thru life’s complexities. I help people get to the root of what’s challenging for them. Together we will work towards rebuilding the way your mind and body responds to your experiences in life and will equip you with the right tools so you feel confident to pursue your goals towards healing.

I believe that each individual has a story that deserves to be honored. I want to meet each person where they are at and encourage positive and healthy growth. I strive to build healthy therapeutic relationships with my clients and create a space that feels safe and empowering.

I believe the client is the expert. You know your self better than anyone. You know how you feel when life happens, you know what frustrates you and what makes you angry. You know what is upsetting and what makes you sad, and you know when something isn't right or that something is off. The problem is that sometimes you don't know why, and if you don't know why, you can't fix it. I take an approach that starts with uncovering what you believe, because so much of what you believe becomes reality whether it's through our behavior or through some kind of a self fulfilling prophecy.

I provide individual and couples counseling for adults. I also work with children and families on a limited basis. I will meet with you in-person at my office or virtually by phone or a secure video-conferencing platform. At this time, I am only accepting new clients on a private pay basis.
