It takes a lot of courage to seek out a therapist so kudos for getting to this point. My favorite piece of being a therapist is helping individuals to find peace within their own minds. Anxious thoughts, negative self talk and substance use can cloud our minds, prevent us from being fully present in the moment, deprive us of feeling joy and leave us feeling foggy, unorganized and irritated most days.

Welcome folks! I am a queer therapist who focuses on working with folks surviving trauma and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Experiencing trauma of any kind can have a profound effect on the way you view yourself, the world, and others. My primary focus as your counselor is creating a sense of safety, and prioritizing connection with you as a person. Healing from trauma is challenging, and my goal is to allow for a space that is both repairing and empowering. It can also be challenging to find therapists that are truly LGBTQIA+ affirming. I work hard to create an inclusive environment that allows you to explore your identity.

In each of my therapy sessions, I seek to give the right support for clients to talk about the things that really matter. I listen carefully and engage deeply so I can provide the feedback and reflection you need to find your path forward with more clarity and confidence. I use my knowledge and experience to help you connect the dots and realize you are not alone. I believe change comes in small steps and I'm here to support you and to celebrate every victory.

I help adults who struggle with feelings of anxiety and depression that impact their health, relationships, and self-esteem. You may have been asking yourself if you just need more time to figure out what is wrong, or wondering what it will take for you to feel better. You may be feeling overwhelmed, physically and mentally exhausted, stuck without solutions to your situation, or feeling frustrated regarding your life, relationships, or circumstances. I help my clients to establish boundaries, explore their thinking about themselves, recognize their triggers, and learn to be more present in their everyday lives.
