As a Mental Health professional I was always sensitive to individuals' needs and oriented to help them overcome difficulties in their lives. I understand asking for help is a difficult step. Building and maintaining a positive therapeutic relationship based on trust and confidence is essential in interaction with my clients.
During my 15+ years of experience I have been using many approaches to fit the particular needs of each client in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. Originally oriented in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, my therapeutic approach is now eclectic including psychodynamic and existential applications, as well.
In addition, as Licensed Behavior Specialist, I am working with Autistic Spectrum Disorder clients developing behavioral programming to teach them utilize and strengthen their abilities. I also have expertise in progressive body relaxation learned during my tenure in Europe.
