I view therapy as a collaborative approach between myself and my clients. I believe in creating a non-judgmental and safe environment in which my clients can tell their story and explore the issues that brought them into therapy. My approach is nurturing and compassionate, and I strive to make my clients feel understood. I also believe in building a strong and trusting therapeutic partnership that supports my clients in achieving their goals and full potential. My practice focuses on helping individuals with life transitions, depression, PTSD, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss and family issues.
I work primarily with adults, couples, and families. I provide psychoeducational, client-centered and strengths-based interventions. I also utilize cognitive behavioral strategies and mindfulness/relaxation techniques to help my clients find the right solutions for them. Additionally, I provide counseling sessions via telemedicine.
I also speak Greek fluently and am qualified to provide clinical supervision to LPC candidates who are pursuing licensure.
