I have worked in clinical settings for various years, allowing me to have experience in residential 24-hour care, private practice, and hospital settings. I believe that these clinical experiences have allowed me to be better equipped to help my clients. As a first generation immigrant, I have first-hand knowledge in Hispanic Cultural Issues and Immigration Trauma. My goal is that you will feel heard, validated and empowered in our sessions.
From a person-centered approach, my focus is to work alongside you and treat you as a person rather than just focusing on the issue or diagnosis. Together, we will identify what your treatment goals are and discuss what is most important to you. You can expect that I will actively listen to your concerns and provide you with tools you can use daily.
