There are so many more challenges to becoming a parent than what is often expected. We are passionate about serving people throughout their journeys in parenting. Perinatal work includes pre-conception, fertility, pregnancy, & after a baby comes into your family. Along the way, difficulties can arise & our goal is to provide a framework, to offer support, & to give validation for how hard becoming a parent or supporting someone who is parenting can be. Our providers use a variety of tools & knowledge to help people adjust their sense of self, grapple with a loss of control, & support transition in their relationships.
All of our perinatal therapists have an additional specialty in this field of work as well as bring a wealth of therapy skills to individuals, couples, children, and whole family units. Key forms of intervention are EMDR and Brainspotting. Areas of additional specialty: birth trauma, IVF, pregnancy & infant loss, and support to partners.
