I work primarily with adults, and couples. In 37 years of practice I have found a particular niche in helping folks work through depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns and general life adjustments.
I use a very eclectic approach when working with the individual and couples. While my approach is rooted in cognitive/behavioral therapies, and a more "teaching" style, I incoroporate several modalities depending on what is needed. setting goals and working towards solutions is the focus. I also offer EMDR for working with those suffering from trauma
I use a very goal focused approach. I also offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning into my practice as an alternative or in addition to traditional therapy. This is a unique and very specialized approach that uses horses within the therapy session to guide the indiviudal or group towards healing through ground work activities.
