With skills and experience in trauma healing, I treat a variety of conditions, including depression and anxiety, as well as PTSD. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and mindfulness skills.
With trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments, you will experience rapid relief from symptoms. EMDR mobilizes the natural healing ability of your body, helps you develop new understanding, and may accelerate trauma healing. CPT helps you to challenge unhelpful thoughts. WET guides you through writing exercises to process disturbing memories.
Based in Dayton, Ohio, Mary Kay currently offers Telehealth services ONLY. She is licensed as an independent clinical social worker and can accept clients who live in Ohio, Maryland, and Illinois. Self-pay/fee-for-service only.
