Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious? Through stress management, identity exploration, mindfulness, and active listening, I hope that I can help you to understand yourself better, love yourself more and manage your feelings and behaviors better. I use a combination of counseling, art therapy, play therapy, and pet therapy(depending on interest and age) to help you to be comfortable with the person that you are instead of the person you think you should be.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Creative Art Therapist and Registered Play Therapist. I provide in-person counseling, art therapy, and play therapy for persons who are residents of Pennsylvania and South Carolina and internationally. I provide ATR and LPC supervision.

I have been a therapist for the past 28 years and have grown and changed over that time. I am a parent of a transgender child of whom I am proud. I have also worked through breast cancer, my husband going through cancer and my father passing from cancer. I enjoy working with children, love adolescents and working with adults.

Superhero exploration group for teens/young adults

This is a 10 week group in which we meet online one hour a week. In this group we explore who we are as superheroes in our own lives, what is our backstory, what are our superpowers and what's in our toolbox. We will be doing art making and creative writing in order to increase self-esteem, focus on personal values, build social skills and work on coping skills. Dungeons n Dragons Therapeutic Group

Come join our adventure! This 2 hour/weekly group is open to teens and young adults (you will be grouped by age) who wish to have more social contact/social skills, working through anxiety and identity through a gaming format. In this group we play actual DnD scenarios set up to help us work on social skills, problem solving, identity formation, assertiveness and imagination. We run groups on a regular basis both in-person and online. This group is set at a maximum of 6 seats. Please contact dr.penny@artplayandorr.com if you are interested in joining.
