About
After over 19 years of working in the mental health field, my favorite part of this work is helping people identify who they are based on their strengths and resilience, not their struggles or weaknesses. Every person has value, and I am grateful for the opportunity to assist people in discovering theirs.
I use Play and Art Therapy with children and adolescents, as these methods offer outlets of expression and insight when verbalizing feelings is emotionally overwhelming and often developmentally inaccessible, especially for younger children.
I offer faith based counseling from a Judeo-Christian perspective to those who request it. In my experience, people find great comfort and success when they integrate their spiritual beliefs with their work toward emotional healing.
