I specialize in working with teens and adults who struggle with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation and victims of abuse. I like to involve parents in the process so that it is a team approach and everyone can utilize skills to help each other. I also work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety and life changes. I enjoy teaching skills and tools to implement in daily life.
I utilize trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy which is well researched and proven effective in treating victims of trauma. I am also EMDR certified and utilize this modality. When appropriate, I also use solution focused, cognitive behavior therapy, and DBT skills.
