I’ve built my practice around over a decade of experience working with high-risk adolescents and their families, aiming to integrate systems in their lives that will improve outcomes over time. Clients don’t come to me to stay in therapy for years; the goal is to gain insights and skills that will help them to move forward in a healthy and balanced way. My work rehabilitating rescue horses integrates seamlessly into my work with humans as they heal in parallel processes. Horses and nature are integral in aiding the formation of healthy habits and thought patterns as we process trauma and improve overall health.
My practice focuses on creating meaningful connection. I specialize in teens and adults who are experiencing life challenges and transitions, and am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Wilderness therapy and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
