My life experiences combined with my training give me a compassionate understanding of people and their struggles. Mother of six, one killed in an accident, grandmother of seven, one developmentally delayed. These traumas, though sad, have been great teachers. I use humor and common sense in my own humanistic style.
Improving your sense of humor will help with personal growth, relationships, grief, pain, and your emotional and physical health. Designing Therapeutic Gardens gives me a sense of the cycle of life and I use Healing Horticulture with some of my clients.
Training:
Masters in Applied Behavioral Science, Leadership Institute of Seattle Bachelors Human Health and Behavior, The Evergreen State College Qualified Hypnotherapist, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR.)
Lead Calming Down, anger management, with Roberta Macdonald which meets the requirements for court ordered classes and is useful for all.
