Although I specialize in substance abuse and grief, I am passionate about helping my clients navigate life's journey, be it depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, strained relationships or employment struggles. I work with dual-diagnosis clients and understand the genetic and environmental component of addiction and how individuals may self-medicate for unresolved issues in their lives. I am passionate about working with families who struggle with a loved ones addiction. In addition, I'm trained as a Grief Counselor and work with clients experiencing grief and loss. I believe in allowing clients a space to grieve.
As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and with years experience working in a substance abuse treatment facility, I understand the complexities of addiction and dual diagnosis. I work with both the individual struggling with substance use disorder and the family members.
I believe in holding space for clients to share without feeling judged. I believe answers to life's difficult situations come from within with the help of an outside perspective.
