About
Phone and Teleconferencing are now being used during the pandemic. This is a good time to work on issues that you and your partner may have been too busy to focus on before. Are you anxious or depressed? Do you want to create a better life for yourself but you are unsure how to make the changes you want? Are you in a relationship where the fighting is becoming greater than the satisfaction of being with your partner? Have you or your partner had an affair? Is your sex life a disappointment? Are you and your partner experiencing the intimacy you yearn for inside and outside the bedroom? Are you struggling with sexual pain?
I combine Sex Therapy with the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy to help couples improve their closeness and communication. I help couples move beyond the affair and create Relationship # 2. I am currently offering a 2 session conflict skills training class to couples interested in using the downtime during the pandemic to create better communication.
For individuals with depression and anxiety I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy to change thinking and feelings. Communication is often easier than you think. Learning to have boundaries and asking for what you want can be learned. I believe in the power of creating possibilities and choices. There is always another way to look at any situation, even yours.
