Seeking counseling for your child or adolescent can seem overwhelming. Some things are difficult to talk about. I am interested in listening to your child and family carefully and attentively. I will take the time during the first appointment to gain the information to help us determine the best method of therapy (or coaching) together. I am grateful to have received excellent training and experience, and am committed to offering the most appropriate counseling for best results. Whether it is treatment for depression, anxiety, behavior problems, social problems, grief, family conflict or something else, you are not alone.
I am committed to therapy which fits your child's needs and your family's values. Culturally appropriate and expressive therapies which include storytelling, art, music and movement are often integrated into therapy. I have had extensive professional training and experience in treating trauma and stress related problems, as well as problematic behaviors.
I am here to listen, problem solve, and cheer your child on as they build esteem and practice ways of coping and communicating which have potential to improve relationships with the important people in their life.
