Life, work, relationships, and trauma can be filled with many obstacles and challenges at times, leading one to feel stressed, discouraged, and overwhelmed. Experiences you have had may cause feelings of fear, depression, and a loss of direction. From these experiences, certain thoughts and perceptions may have developed that adversely affect your mood and behavior. I am dedicated to providing a collaborative, safe, and encouraging environment that promotes awareness and growth.
My goal is for you to improve your relationships with yourself and others and find an outlook that restores hope, balance, control, and healing. I utilize a holistic approach from CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, and EMDR training using a multitude of techniques to help clients reach their fullest potential.
After receiving my Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, I earned a Master’s of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Prior to my therapeutic experience, I worked in a variety of settings, including the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, School Counseling, and Child Protective Services.
