I received my Bachelors of Science in Counseling as an undergraduate and went on to receive my Masters of Science in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health. I have 25 years of experience, two of which were completed in a clinical setting, and I have helped individuals come into a place of spiritual, mental, and physical rest through an approach to counseling that encompasses the whole person - mind, body, and spirit.
My goal is to help all clients overcome whatever they are struggling with in their lives. We start with the basics, and then I look to find what the root of the problem is so we can remove it and plant something better. All aspects of the person - mind, body and spirit are considered in the journey toward wellness
I believe in the dignity of humanity, and I also believe that all people should be treated with honor and respect. This is a foundational principle for me to reach out in empathy and help people who are hurting.
