With our current social climate fraught with uncertainty, fear, sadness, anger, a sense of isolation and more, the Center for Brief Therapy (CBT), an affiliate of the Department of Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, can help with a wide range of challenges from low energy, depression and anxiety to chronic pain, weight management and improved academic performance.
We offer in-person, telehealth and virtual conferencing services. The CBT provides psychological consultation services and empirically supported cognitive-behavioral therapy for children, adolescents and adults coping with a wide range of psychological and behavioral problems, as well as formal psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Psychological and neuropsychological evaluations are very useful in clarifying diagnoses and providing recommendations for a wide range of issues including learning disorders, ADHD, autism, effects from medical conditions or brain injury, disability, and vocational and educational accommodations.
Our center is staffed with advanced graduate students in clinical psychology who are supervised by licensed psychology faculty. We offer flexible hours and our rates are affordable, typically no more than an insurance co-pay, with no insurance necessary and no limits on the number of sessions.
