Welcome! I offer short-term and long-term models of psychotherapy for individual adults of all ages and walks of life. I work with a wide range of people who come to therapy for different reasons wether it be symptoms of mood dysregulation such as anxiety or depression, issues related childhood or adult trauma, relationship challenges, dealing with a chronic health condition, a major loss or life transition, or wether it is simply for personal growth and healing. Regardless of the reason that calls a person to seek therapeutic support, my over 15 years of clinical experience have taught me that the heart of the process that unfolds in psychotherapy can be boiled down to a few key principles that apply to most peoples journey of gaining a better degree of psychological wholeness and health. My integrative approach to psychotherapy draws from a number of different schools of thought in the field including classical psychoanalytic/psychodynamic theory, humanistic psychology, Jungian archetypal psychology, CBT/mindfulness based practices, and solution focused therapy. I recommend checking out my personal website site for more information about my work!

I have also developed a specialization in working with developmental and “event specific” trauma using applied principles of the “somatic experiencing” work of Peter Levine, and other cutting edge research emerging in the field of neuroscience about human development and how to heal the nervous system from patterns of dysregulation that are rooted in trauma. It's amazing to watch how powerful this work can be to repattern and heal the nervous system. Clients also gain a set of tools to apply in their daily experiences empowering them to deal more gracefully with stressful situatuons.

My work with clients is very connective and dynamic. I'm not the kind of therapist that just sits back and nods. I am very available in the work to connect with clients as a person on the path of life and help you feel comfortable opening up and sharing things that are difficult to talk about and often times very vulnerable. I tend to be more on the interactive and engaged side of things as a therapist providing a lot of psychoeducation to empower people to understand themselves psychologically. I also hold a deep empathic space for clients to share at length and be heard and validated.
