My practice focuses on women who have been through difficult life experiences and may be facing substance use concerns or addiction, food and body image struggles, and trauma-related stress and emotional challenges. I offer compassionate support for the emotional pain that often accompanies these experiences. When thoughts, feelings, and stressors feel overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to begin with addressing them. In therapy, we can work together to make a plan that gives attention to the parts of you that need it, respecting your personal goals and working toward them at a comfortable pace.
I incorporate mindfulness and body-based practices into sessions and help people connect with their internal strengths and resources, supporting them in navigating emotions in a safe and grounded way. My work is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parts work (IFS), and somatic experiencing.
