I have worked extensively with adults experiencing depression, grief and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many have experienced a scary event that has been very difficult for them to effectively deal with the feelings and nightmares.
I also have a lot of experience working with first responders and have assisted them in coping more successfully with work and family stressors.
I am interested in assisting clients experiencing depression, past and more recent trauma issues, anxiety problems and grief issues. Many of my clients have experienced emotional, sexual, physical abuse including bullying, domestic violence, losses, exposure to man made or natural disasters, war and medical traumas.
I am both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Psychiatric Nurse. This allows me to understand how current physical problems impact a client's mental health. I also am experienced in disaster mental health, assisting clients and first responders with the effects of exposure to natural and man-made disasters.
