My approach with individuals and in my groups is person-centered expressive arts with the belief that that all the arts stimulate inner growth no matter what the individual brings to the group. The arts are a way to build community and connection and improve quality of life for everyone.
I work with individuals who are motivated to create change in their lives through the use of the arts. I also work with individuals with cognitive impairment or developmental delays focusing on neurogenesis, rewiring the brain and body map. This work aids in inner-personal growth, improved self-esteem, build self-efficacy, and teaches emotional regulation.
I have been an artist all my life and am passionate about all the arts as play and self- exploration. I believe that people learn best when they are fully engaged on all levels and that the arts are a way to help us to stay focused and engaged. I love nature and music, and both inspire my art.

Expressive Arts Group for girls on the spectrum
Expressive Arts Group For girls on the spectrum Age 10-11 This group involves movement, music, art making and writing to build social skills and self-esteem. Participants will learn how to use music, dance, art making and journalling to self-regulate. This is an 8-week group with room for 4 girls Fee is $35/wk.
