Hello! I am Paula Peterson. I have the great honor of being a licensed professional counselor for the last 18 years. I love coming alongside people and their wounds and struggles that they carry and that have gotten in their way. Because of my own healing journey, I know how valuable it is to have someone come alongside you well with patience, compassion, wisdom and care.
The first session is your chance to get to know me and my chance to get to know you. It is important that you feel comfortable with me and I feel that I can help you with your needs. We will have time to talk about where you are at and what you need from therapy. You can ask questions and also bring concerns too.
I am quirky. I love being honest and sometimes that is fun and sometimes that can be big. I also LOVE to encourage people and share small bits about myself when it makes sense.
