I’m a mixed-race, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist who supports individuals navigating identity, trauma, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Our practice emphasizes a compassionate body-based (somatic therapy) approach to mental health, and our time will include strengthening the connection to the body. I specialize in working with race-based stress and trauma, gender identity and exploration, couples (Monogamous, poly, and expanded), LGBTQ+ experiences, body dysphoria, PTSD, and healing from shame and oppression. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore, heal, and grow authentically.
One of the first connections we lose due to traumatic experiences is the healing wisdom of the body. I use somatic psychotherapy to train the nervous system and build capacity for the deeper work of attachment repair, parts work, and trauma healing. I'm a AF-EMDR practitioner, a trauma-informed yoga/mindfulness instructor, and conflict resolution trainer.
We all need to be seen and understood. The many voices that tell us who and what we should be can crowd out connection to the wisest parts of ourselves. I trust in each person's innate ability to heal and the drive that moves us to seek well-being, wholeness, and a sense of purpose in life. You have healing power; my role is to guide and support it.
