I know that life can be difficult to navigate on your own. You don't need to discern everything by yourself. Friends and family may or may not want to help, but their subjective guidance can only extend so far. It is sometimes necessary to reach out to professionals who can provide their professional empathic, objective guidance. I have been successfully providing counseling since 1994, to people like you, who are struggling with some of Life's many challenges. People are finding it is helpful to seek counseling. I provide both couples counseling, and individual counseling for adults. I assist people to move toward their life goals.
When we meet for the first time, we will discuss what is important to you and together we will come up with a treatment plan that helps you identify what goals you want to achieve. Your therapy will be individualized based upon your personal strengths and needs. I will assist you in drawing from your strengths, in order to achieve your therapeutic goals.
I teach relaxation and mindfulness exercises to people experiencing anxiety. I provide cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression. I assist couples to enhance communication skills and identify the impediments to maintaining their connection. I integrate the Christian perspective into counseling sessions for those who are seeking Christian Counseling.
