Individuals come to me for counseling for so many different reasons. I’ll mention just a few. For some, it’s to find the courage to be independent and break away from what their parents, other loved ones, or society say their life should be. Others see me to get help mending their broken or dysfunctional relationships. Some want to connect with others but have trouble finding a way to do that naturally and safely. Others struggle with stress (family or workplace), depression, anxiety and can’t find a way to make it stop. Know this, is there’s help and you don’t have to go at it alone.
We all need support at some point in our life. It’s not a sign of weakness to admit that and do something about it. This is part of being human. And for those times, it can be a lifeboat to have a caring, professional to talk to. No issues are off-limits and the range of situations I counsel on are unlimited.
I offer flexible hours through virtual appointments. That means we can talk face-to-face from anywhere you're comfortable. If you’re not familiar with virtual sessions, I can tell you this: Most of my clients comment they are surprised at how comfortable and inviting it is to get together in this way.
